My passion is to teach people about Living NEW or a life of Never Ending Worship, how to understand true Biblical Sonship by understanding who and whose they are and embracing the purpose for their lives as children of God to make an IMPACT.

I finally surrendered to preach and fully embrace my calling on Labor Day weekend of 1989 after running, from what I knew to be God’s call for 10 years. I had preached my first sermon at 16 years of age during youth week at our church after having had a few rough years of being very mad at God as a result of my parents’ divorce. At almost years of age I had an encounter with God after I screamed at him telling Him I hated Him for what had happened to my family as a result of the divorce.

All of a sudden, I realized something, this God, who was to be feared because you had to live right, didn’t kill me, when I screamed at Him. Instead, I was taken back to the moment where as a nine-year-old boy I was sitting in an old man of God’s office telling him I wanted Jesus to come into my heart because I didn’t want to die and go to hell.

In that office, Pastor O.E. Boals, who’s 105 now and still occasionally preaches, came around, from behind what seemed to be an extremely large desk, and sat down next to me. He told me of God’s everlasting love that was free for me to receive. At that moment, he took a dime from his pocket and held out it out his hand. He said, Wayne, here’s a dime it’s yours. Take it. I reached for the dime and he said “that’s how God’s love and forgiveness is. When Jesus died for us and rose again, He made God’s free gift of salvation, His love for us, available for the taking. God is saying to you “take My love just like you took the dime from my hand. It’s yours Wayne.” He went over the plan of salvation with me and I gave my life to Christ. As we started to leave, I tried to give preacher his dime back. He said, “Nope! I’m not taking it back and you can’t give it back. Just like you can’t give God’s love back. He will always love you regardless.”

I’m so glad that Preacher Boals gave me that dime. It has truly made an unforgettable IMPACT in my life.
